  • In November and December, Cliff will be headlining Night of the Proms 2010, a series of concerts around Germany, combining classical and pop music.   He will be one of many featured artists, and will sing just five or six songs, accompanied by a symphony orchestra and band.   Full information about the event can be found at www.notp.com/english, which also has an on-line ticket sales facility.   Please note that Cliff is appearing in the German concerts only, and not those in Holland or Belgium.
  • Cliff's Bold As Brass album, recorded with a swing band in Nashville, will be released on 11 October.   A full track-listing appears on the Latest Album page.   Clips from the various tracks can be heard on the Sound Gallery and Latest Album pages.

  • While in Dublin in June, Cliff recorded a duet with Majella O'Donnell for her forthcoming album.   The album is likely to be available only at Daniel's concerts, but further news will be posted when known.
  • Cliff was back in the UK for ten days in late June/early July, for his niece's wedding, and to attend the second week of Wimbledon.   He will spend the rest of the summer in Portugal and America.

  • Although the Royal Albert Hall shows are officially 'sold out', apart from some standing tickets in the Gallery, there are also some single tickets still available for most nights in 2nd Tier Boxes.
  • Cliff performed Congratulations at the 70th birthday celebrations of Queen Margrethe II in Denmark on 13 April.  After returning to the UK for a night, he was fortunate that his flight back to Barbados departed just ten minutes before the airport closed due to the volcanic ash.

  • The DVD of Cliff & The Shadows The Final Reunion was released in the UK by 2Entertain in November.   Its release by Viavision in Australia has gone platinum and Cliff & The Shadows were presented with their awards during their February tour (see picture below).
