Cliff Richard Perfumes
MISS YOU NIGHTS
I chose Miss You Nights as the name for my first fragrance because the song is a particular favourite of mine and has personal memories. One of them is of my mother fanning herself in the tropical heat with a sandalwood fan. To recapture this I have included some beautiful sandalwood in the formula. The heart of the perfume is intensely floral and the scent of jasmine immediately transports me to my home in Barbados where I spend so many happy times.
DREAM MAKER
Growing sweet-smelling flowers and plants has always given me great pleasure and the different scents in this beautiful floral perfume evoke memories from each of my homes. The perfume opens with sparkling green notes which remind me of the fragrant lemon tree in the conservatory at my former home in Weybridge. At the heart of the fragrance there seems to be a hint of flowers from each of my gardens - the English rose, heliotrope and even Mediterranean jasmine, geranium and tuberose, blending with the waxy white flowers of gardenia, lily and magnolia. It's an intoxicating bouquet, and the Caribbean seems just an instant away. The stuff that dreams are made of!
DEVIL WOMAN
I wanted a fragrance suitable to be worn in the evening. Devil Woman seemed so right as a name because it was one of the most sultry and moody of all my hits. It is a heady blend of fruity and musky ingredients which come from exotic and distant lands, places where I may well have performed the song on some far-away tour. Just perfect for an evening out!
SUMMER HOLIDAY
My 1963 film with The Shadows now seems synonymous with sunshine, fun and laughter, just perfect for a summer fragrance that puts me in holiday mood. Citrus fruits on the top blend into summer white flowers of gardenia and lily and an underlying note of musk sweetens the base. All reminiscent of summer holidays far from home.
